MEMBERSHIP DUES: Membership dues are due and payable on the one (1) year anniversary date of membership.  

 

MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES: You are fully responsible for your actions and that of your guests and family members and are fully responsible for your personal property. Each member of the National Firearms Association Bahamas are to adhere to the following rules:

 

• ALWAYS KEEP THE FIREARM POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION AND NEVER AT OTHERS 

• DO NOT PLACE FINGER ON THE TRIGGER OR IN THE TRIGGER GUARD UNLESS READY TO FIRE 

• ALWAYS WEAR APPROPRIATE EYESIGHT AND HEARING PROTECTION 

• NEVER PASS THE FIREARM TO ANYONE WITHOUT OPENING AND KEEPING THE CYLINDER OR ACTION OPEN TO VERIFY THAT IT IS UNLOADED 

• ALWAYS FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE RANGE MASTER & INSTRUCTORS. 

• TREAT EVERY FIREARM AS IF IT WERE LOADED 

• AGREE THAT THE RANGE MASTER & INSTRUCTORS MAY INSPECT YOUR FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION AT ANY TIME DURING TRAINING SESSIONS AND HAS THE RIGHT TO PROHIBIT ITS USE IF DAMED NECESSARY 

• BE RESPONSIBLE IN THE CARRYING, USE AND STORAGE OF YOUR FIREARM

• UNDERSTAND THAT SMOKING, EATING & DRINKING IS ALWAYS PROHIBITED WHEN USING A FIREARM 

• DO NOT USE A FIREARM OR PERMIT ANYONE CONSIDERED TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS USE OF A FIREARM

• AT ALL TIMES FOLLOW, RESPECT AND ADHERE TO ALL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. WHEN OR IF APPLICABLE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER 

 

MEMBERSHIP OBJECTIVE: To project a Professional Image of a responsible firearm owner and create a Reputable Brand of the N.F.A.B on a National level.

 

OUR MISSION: The promotion and encouragement of firearms safety and knowledge amongst the citizens of the Bahamas. With a view toward the importance and benefits of firearms ownership for a better understanding of the safe use, handling, marksmanship, proper care and storage of firearms & importance of law and abiding by it, through proper training, policies and certification standards. To support and defend the rights of properly licensed firearms owners in the Bahamas. By educating the public and keeping our representatives informed of statutory duties and responsibilities and forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good solidarity, self-discipline and fair play which are the essentials of good sportsmanship in all firearm related activities. 

 

OUR VISION: To foster the development of public firearm safety by providing training opportunities, with comprehensive educational programs that will become the premiere all-encompassing training standards and certifications in the Bahamas.
