NFAB Range Team Complete Milestone Certifications

The National Firearms Association of The Bahamas (NFAB) is proud to announce that our Range Team has successfully completed the NRA’s International Range Safety Officer Certification as well as the NFAB’s Regional Range Safety Officer Certification. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to safe and responsible firearms training in The Bahamas.

This latest accomplishment reflects NFAB’s unwavering dedication to upholding the highest standards of safety, comprehensive training, and the professional development of our members and affiliates.

The rigorous 36-hour training course concluded with a final examination that included both written and practical components. All participants passed with a minimum score of 95%, a testament to their expertise, leadership, and commitment to fostering a culture of safety. The course assessed not only theoretical knowledge but also situational awareness and sound decision-making in real-world scenarios.

Each officer demonstrated proficiency in professional range management, safety protocols, emergency and medical response, ethical practices, firearms law, and best practices for organizing public and private shooting events, training, and activities.

This accomplishment not only strengthens our capacity to develop and certify ranges both regionally and internationally, but also equips us to host, score, and produce shooting events to international standards.

As the leading advocate for responsible firearms ownership and use, the NFAB recognizes that safety must remain the cornerstone of all shooting sports and training environments. Our newly certified Regional Range Safety Officers will play a vital role in upholding and advancing these standards.
