NFAB Supports Domestic Violence Center Through Community Service Initiative

Nassau, The Bahamas

The National Firearms Association of The Bahamas (NFAB), through its Women's Empowerment division Strong Women Alert & Guarded (SWAG) and Law Enforcement Division (LED), proudly demonstrated its commitment to community support and advocacy by recently lending a helping hand to a local Domestic Violence Center.

Members of SWAG and LED devoted their time and resources to assist with the setup and preparation of accommodations for residents. The initiative included the assembly of bunk beds, cribs, lamps, and night stands, as well as the careful arrangement of linens to ensure a warm and welcoming environment for survivors and their families.

“This effort is a testament to our belief that safety extends beyond self-defense and the responsible use of firearms; it’s also about creating safe, supportive spaces for those in crisis,” said Nikolette Elden, Director of Public Relations. “We’re especially proud of the women of SWAG and our team in LED who worked together to bring comfort and care to this vital center.”

The NFAB recognizes that domestic violence is a serious issue affecting countless individuals and families. Through acts of service and continued advocacy, the Association remains committed to promoting safety, empowerment, and healing across The Bahamas.
